JORESTECH 6-Foot Safety Lanyard Fall Protection Equipment (Dual Leg)

The JORESTECH Double Tie-Off Internal Shock Absorbing Lanyard is designed for minimizing the consequences of a fall from heights, by means of a built-in deceleration system. The Y-lanyard design attaches two lanyard legs to a shock absorber and snap hook, which can allow for workers to move horizontally from one area to another while being continuously attached. Built for all industries where workers are exposed to falls from elevation, it is used as a means to attach the user’s safety harness to an anchor point. In the event of an accident, the compressed lanyard will expand while dissipating the forces and arresting the fall, providing a smooth and efficient arrest. Its internal shock absorption mechanism is an upgrade form the multipack method of deceleration with a more sleek, compact, lightweight and user-friendly design. With user safety as the top priority, this fall-arrest system is built with a heavy-duty external tubular webbing that provides maximum security and breaking strength. Its self-locking, easy to operate steel snap hook and scaffolding hooks on either ends of the lanyard are integrated with an additional safety mechanism that keeps them securely closed at all times. A contrasting load-indicator allows for easy inspection, clearly displaying when a fall has occurred and the lanyard should be removed from service.
